The idea for this car was sketched out back in 1988. Renowned car designer Gordon Murray was waiting for his flight after attending the Italian Grand Prix.

He sketched out a model of a 3 seater sports cars which has always been his dream when he was a kid. He then proposed the idea to McLaren Group’s founder Ron Dennis and the rest, was history.

1962 Ferrari 250 GTO – £57 million

That’s right, a whopping £57 million for this more than 50-year old car. However, this particular model is one of a kind, actually 36 of a kind given that there were only 36 made from 1962 to 1964. The 250 GTO classic is an inspiration to so many classic cars that came after.

If would further blow your mind that to this day, all 36 cars are still in good condition and are very much ok.
